The University of Waterloo North Campus Community Gardens
What the North Campus Community Gardens (NCCG) brings to the University of Waterloo is an opportunity for students to step outside of their virtual world and step into a real-life ecological experience. Garden spaces are only open for students and staff or U of Waterloo.
The north campus garden has three distinct garden types for students to choose from:
Description
Type 1. Individual Plot – 15 plot size 10′ x 10′ to 15′ x 15′; The individual plots are for those who love gardening on their own. Contact Shane May at smay@edu.uwaterloo.ca or sameva2312@gmail.com.
Type 2. Communal gardening – Students work as a team and make decisions as a group; Contact Shane May at smay@edu.uwaterloo.ca.
Type 3. Indigenous Garden – Dave Skeen, Co-Executive Director at White Owl Native Ancestry Association.
