Cost per season: $20.00 plus labour to maintain the communal portions of the garden.

Services provided: Land, water, community bread oven, access to the herb beds at Old Willow Green Community Garden.

Description

Located in a remote portion of Raddatz Park along Schneider Creek. Surrounded by a rustic wood fence with gates. Pathways are around each bed so that you do not need to stand in your bed to garden. This allows more intensive planting methods. Gardeners are expected to have started planting by the end of May and to use only organic methods – no artifical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. Garden agreements are to be signed annually each spring.
